Similar electric models with equal power are held in lower regard by users than the Sun Joe model however, thanks in large part to better design. Online reviewers were generally pleased with the Sun Joe Electric Garden Cultivator, but even those who liked it found issues with the unit. Aside from faulty units, the major complaint from many reviewers was that the tiller was underpowered and couldn’t do the job in any hard soil. If you have a small garden or the need to do certain small jobs from time to time in a larger garden, the Sun Joe Electric Garden Tiller/Cultivator would be a good addition to your tool shed. That being said, it is not likely to prove a suitable substitute for a more powerful model.
