Herstyler Ceramic Flat Iron- How Does It Hold Up Against Others?

Last Updated on January 17, 2020 by Cassie Lyons

Herstyler Ceramic Flat Iron consists of 1.25″ size plates, temperature control that reaches up to 475F, ceramic plates, and dual voltage. The irons have negative ion technology, floating plates technology, and far infrared technology. With having solid ceramic plates the customer is able to smooth and straighten their hair faster and without pulling or breaking. The flat iron is lightweight and reaches the desired temperature within 25 seconds. Its ergonomic design came from Italy and is made to be more comfortable while holding.

The plates were made to be able to be used on all hair types while reducing heat exposure. Temperature control can be used for a variation in hair types and styling options whil the swivel cord eliminates tangling and the dual voltage allows you to travel with the iron. The negative ion technology eliminates static while sealing the cuticles to help straighten while not damaging the hair. The far infrared technology is able to heat the plates up while being gentle on the hair.

The Positives
While there weren’t very many negative comments found in the reviews left by customers there were several positive comments. Heat distribution on the hair is uniform and the unit heats up fast to make it a time saver by straightening the hair quicker. It has a sleek and contemporary design and is durable for long term use. The straightener has more helpful negative ions than your standard flat iron and there are multiple settings to be able to work on all hair types.

The Negatives
The cover gets quite hot and it stays very hot for quite a while. The user guide is also difficult to understand at times and could use improvement. These were the top two complaints about the flat iron.

So What’s The Scoop?
The Herstyler Ceramic Flat Iron while expensive is worth the money due to its high quality. There were very few negative comments about the product and the only major one was how hot the unit gets and stays. This I feel is dismissed when comparing the high quality of the individual parts and the long term use you are able to get from the iron.
