Tony Moly’s Latte Art Milk Cacao Pore Pack, is it as Effective as it is Cute?

Last Updated on November 7, 2015 by Cassie Lyons

Tony Moly Latte Art Milk Cacao Pore Pack is an adorable mask that comes in a coffee cup shaped pot. It’s a mix of white and black swirls that after the first use you’re meant to completely mix together till the whole pot is grey colored. It contains cacao oil and marshmallow extract which is meant to both control sebum and moisturize.

The Positives
This mask is of course super adorable! It also smells amazing- like chocolate mousse. It also leaves your skin feeling squeaky clean after each use and helps keep your face from becoming oily. It also comes with a miniature spatula to apply the mask- which is again too cute.

The Negatives
I wanted this product to work so bad, I really did; however, after just a couple minutes it started burning my face and making my eyes water. When I woke up the next morning my eyes were super swollen like they had been stung by bees! This may not happen to everyone, but it definitely a risk to be aware of. Especially sense it takes quite a bit of effort just to buy this product and get it shipped to you.

So What’s The Scoop?
Tony Moly Latte Art Milk Cacao Pore Pack is a cacao oil infused mask meant to minimize pores and soften your skin. It smells amazing and has the most adorable packaging, but it is not suited to sensitive skin! I had a pretty severe reaction that caused my eyelids to swell immensely and I hadn’t even kept the mask on the full 10-15 minutes. Therefore, I cannot suggest this product to anyone, no matter your skin type, because I simply don’t feel that it is safe. Good luck though if you do attempt to use this mask, and let us all know if your skin type had a positive reaction to the product.
