These Norpro Silicone Oven Gloves Are Just The Right Size

Silicone oven gloves are a popular hit in the kitchen, yet many people complain about them being too big and bulky. Fortunately, Norpro listened and decided to make these handy gloves in a variety of sizes, including medium. This glove fits smaller hands better, yet still has the same length in order to ensure safety in the kitchen. The glove is only 6” wide and features non-skid silicone on the outside to prevent against burns. The insides are super comfortable and raised grooves give a firm grasp when handling hot dishes. The silicone oven gloves are available in pink, a real hit with mom cooks and those with pink colored appliances.
The silicone is heat resistant up to 485 degrees Fahrenheit and hand washing is recommended to keep the mitt in top condition. What makes this heat resistant oven glove so special is that it’s a silicone oven mitt for smaller hands, and one of the few on the market.
This added feature sets it apart from any other brand and also solves the common complaint of oven mitts that are too large to work with. Product owners are satisfied, as they find these gloves to be just the right size, super handy around the kitchen and prevents against burns.
The Positives
Non-skid silicone on the outside protects your hands from the heat. Fabric on the inside keeps your hands comfortable and secure. This pink silicone fabric glove fits smaller hands better than other Norpro gloves. Silicone is high heat resistant up to 485F or 250C. The silicone oven mitt has raised grooves which are ideal for gripping.
The Negatives
For one reviewer the silicone was not enough of an insulator to keep burn-free. Keep in mind that these Norpro mitts are not sold in pairs, but separately.
So What’s The Scoop?
Among all the good reviews however, only a select few people reported problems, saying that the silicone oven gloves was not enough of an insulator to keep burn-free. It is possible that the dishes cooked may have close to the maximum temperature, as all other reviews loved the flexibility and felt no heat transfer through.
