Sistema Microwave Multicooker – Quick, Healthy Cooking-Made for everyone!

Last Updated on January 7, 2020 by Cassie Lyons

The Sistema Microwave Multicooker allows you to steam cook dishes using the microwave, this container, and a couple tablespoons of water.  It comes with a rice spatula, a pressure chamber tray, and a lid with steam vents. There is also a cookbook that comes with it to provide you with more recipes and directions.  It allows you to cook rice in minutes in the microwave instead of on the stove or in a rice cooker on the counter.

The Positives
On the whole, reviewers were very pleased with the Sistema, and I can certainly see why. Not only can you cook rice, like your typical rice cooker it can also cook brown rice, quinoa, and polenta.  The difference is it can also steam cook veggies, which they include some recipes for in the cookbook.  You can also make soups and steam cook meats in it as well.  All in minutes compared to the stove, oven, or rice cooker. There are many reviews on this product with varying likes and dislikes.  The ease of use and clean up is an aspect that customers like along with the product being small which lets it take up every little room in storage.

The Negatives
Some of the reviewers mentioned that the cook time is slightly off for some of the recipes. The measurements for the amount of water to add was off for a few recipes making the cooker either overflow or not cook the product enough.

So What’s The Scoop?
Overall I would suggest the Sistema Microwave Multicooker for small families, couples, or singles.  I don’t suggest it for a large family as it is a small container made for portion control and smaller amounts of food, like cooking for two.  I would suggest it for those who aren’t as skilled in the kitchen but want to eat healthier, or for those who don’t have time to cook a gourmet meal.
