Discover The Heavy Aluminum Presto Pressure Canner

The Presto Pressure Canner will hold up to twenty pint jars or seven quart jars at one time. It is constructed of heavy aluminum which resists warping and encourages even heat distribution. Safety features of this model include a pop up pressure indicator, a steam release mechinism and an overpressure plug to let off excessive steam build up if needed. There is also a pressure dial gauge that lets you see the pressure reading.
To ensure quality canning, the lid locks down tight and an inner seal keeps steam inside the canner. Another nice feature of this canner is an included rack that will fit inside and keep jars off the bottom, allowing for water circulation. This canner also does double duty and serves as a pressure cooker. An included recipe book will give you ideas for easy dishes to prepare, including basic soups to breads and desserts. One consistent potential negative was that the unit takes a while to heat up, but that seems fairly common in canners.
