The Oster Beehive Blender has a 500 watt motor that is powerful enough to cut through ice. The glass container will hold 40 ounces giving you ample room to create your next smoothie or milkshake. It is easy enough to take apart and clean and the glass container is dishwasher safe. The instruction booklet included contains recipes to get you started.
The “spinner “ found in the base of most blenders today is plastic but this Oster blender features a metal shaft that makes for a strong and longer lasting blender. You are unlikely to find many blenders it this price range offering such quality.

Includes a 40-ounce, ribbed-and-tapered glass container. Classic beehive-shaped base clad in chrome with rubber feet equals stability. Blender blends margaritas and smoothies, mixes soups and sauces.
The Negatives
Black screw-on base to the chrome blender jar has already cracked for one reviewer. Comment about lid doesn’t fasten down tight enough to make a water-seal.
