Leap Frog Letter Factory DVD Offers An Innovative Way To Teach Kids

The Leap Frog Letter Factory DVD is full of educational fun for little tadpoles ages 2-5. Kids will enjoy learning about the letters from their favorites from the cast of Leap Frog characters. Featuring the beloved Leap, Tad and Lily, kids can tag along as the three friends follow where adventure leads. A trip to the Factory of Letters introduces children to silly songs to help them remember the sound each letter makes. The Leap Frog DVD includes an interactive game that allows kids to practice the skills that they have gained from watching the story. Honestly I was hard pressed to find a bad review. Fun songs will have kids singing letter sounds in no time.

The best I could do was find a handful of reviews that merely gave the DVD a rating of 4 stars out of 5. While reading the “bad” reviews I noticed that there was not a common theme to the less than perfect reviews; one reviewer deducted a star because they would have liked the DVD to be available in Spanish, another deducted a star because they had a problem with the DVD playing correctly.

The Positives
Fun songs will have kids singing letter sounds in no time. Letter learning springs to life in this engaging and educational video. LeapFrog has won more than 650 awards for innovation in learning toys. A catchy, fun song serves as a summation of each letter’s “class”. Children learn to recognize letters with confidence.

The Negatives
The audio and visuals are overstimulating and distracting from the message. Some kids don’t like hearing the same song over and over again.

So What’s The Scoop?
With a 5 out of 5 star rating from over 800 Amazon customer reviews, this Leap Frog DVD is probably a safe bet for parents and caregivers looking for a fun and educational DVD!
