Although basic in nature, many people have difficulty finding fingernail clippers that are precise, durable and efficient. While the Seki fingernail clippers are indeed more expensive than other brands, product owners are happy they spent the extra money.
Being made of stainless steel, the material won’t peel off and the construction won’t fall apart or become wobbly. Also, the cutting edge delivers a clean clip each and every time, even when using it in the shower. Product owners were willing to spend the additional money since the product is made in Japan; however, the Premax nail clippers made in Italy did not garner the same positive reviews.
In fact, the Premax clippers are more expensive than the Seki ones and product owners had a difficult time getting the clippers to lock in the closed position. Although the Seki professional nail clippers are a hit, some online reviews felt that for the money, the product should have come with a nail file, worked on cuticles and feature a better overall design.
