It only weights 95 pounds, making it easy to transport around the yard. It operates quietly and smoothly and was rated a “Best Buy” by Consumers Magazine.
After doing some research on this product, I found that reviews were rather mixed, even with all the features the machine has to offer. It seems like more of the reviewers would have been satisfied with the product if it cost less. This wood chipper is certainly an investment, and not all reviewers felt they got their money’s worth.

After reading the reviews, it seems like everyone had issues with the machine clogging. Even those who were highly satisfied with the electric wood chipper found this to be a problem; these reviewers just found ways to work around it. For example, when putting on the bag, it’s important not to have any kinks, as this could cause the outlet to clog. It’s also important not to feed too much into the chipper too quick. Even with these helpful hints, the constant clogging may too much of nuisance for some people.
So What’s The Scoop?
After researching the Patriot Electric Wood Chipper, I would have to say that although I would recommend it, it’s also an investment that deserves careful consideration. I would be a bit hesitant to spend so much money on a machine that clearly has some issues regarding clogging. Even with these difficulties however, reviewers did say that this machine was far better than others they had used, and does take the place of having cheaper, less powerful machines lying around.
