Get Rid of Bugs Safely With This Non Toxic Natural Ant Repellent

    July 13th, 2011

Small product picture of natural ant repellent.

One of the biggest concerns for parents and pet owners alike when it comes to pest control is how safe the product is. Sure, there are lots of great products out there that can kill an entire ant colony in a week, but what else can those products kill? If you’re concerned about ants or other pests in your home but also don’t want to use harsh chemicals that might hurt your pets or kids, check out Orange Guard 103 natural ant repellent. Ants and most other bugs are naturally repelled by citrus, and Orange Guard takes advantage of that fact by using citrus essences in a spray that helps kill and repel insects without toxins.

In the reviews I researched, it seems that most people who use this product have really good luck with it, but you do have to understand that it’s different from most commercial repellents on the market. The main difference is that it’s not meant to have a lingering presence. During ant infestation season, you’ll probably have to spray it once a day or so to keep them away. As it evaporates, ants become less and less averse to it, so they’ll come back. The point, though, is to keep ants and other bugs out of your home without resorting to dangerous chemicals, so you should definitely expect some trade-offs. Most reviewers had at least some success with Orange Guard. The most reasonable reviews noted that you do have to re-spray it often to keep ants from coming back but that it will also kill ants that are already in your home on contact. Another great plus with this product is that it smells great and is, of course, non-toxic. You can use it around kids and pets, and even around food. It leaves a sunny orange scent that’s quite pleasant.

The Rat Zapper Offers Chemical Free and Humane Pest Control

    April 5th, 2011

Small product picture of a rat zapper review.

Pests of any kind are always considered unwanted guests in our homes, and for good reason. Pests bring unwanted filth and even the possibility of disease, and the worst of these guests can be rats. Rats can be a destructive force, gnawing away on wires and spreading disease in the places you and your family sleep. Put an end to these unwanted guests with an Agri Zap Rat Zapper Ultra. Powered by four alkaline D cell batteries, the Agri Zap Rat Zapper Ultra can kill as many as 30 rats or mice on a single set of batteries. There is no need for harmful chemicals around your home as the Rat Zapper eliminates rodents with no blood or gore.

A flashing indicator light lets you know when you’ve got a kill, and the rodent can be simply tipped out into the garbage. Whether you need help in your home or business, the Rat Zapper can eliminate the rats and mice pestering you. There are a wide variety of rat traps available to those with infestation problems, but the Agri Zap Rat Zapper Ultra is one of the few bloodless, no fuss traps available. Although the majority of online reviewers were pleased with this electric mouse trap, a large number of reviewers were not impressed. Many reviewers were displeased with their unit, noting that it was not only useless against mice but also against rats. A number of users even noted that their trap never worked and that rodents were able to come and go as they pleased from the trap, taking the bait with them every time. Even though a good number of reviewers had negative experiences with the Agri Zap Rat Zapper Ultra, the number of successful units suggests it would be a good trapping option for your needs.

The Orange Guard Natural Ant Killer Spray Uses The Power Of Nature

    March 28th, 2011

Small product picture of a natural ant killer review.

Nothing is more disturbing during the spring and summer months than finding many of Mother Nature’s inhabitants making their way into your home in search of shelter. Ants, spiders, and other bugs are everywhere in our yards and have a real knack for finding their way into our homes. With the help of Orange Guard Home Pest Control you can naturally and safely keep unwanted guests from creeping into your home. This Natural Ant Killer spray is made from orange peel extract and is a safe and effective way to spray for pest inside and outside of your home. Orange Guard’s pesticide is registered with the EPA, attesting to its safe nature.

Instead of using harsh and dangerous chemicals, Orange Guard uses natural ingredients from orange peels to deliver a blow to would-be home invaders. There is obviously a great deal of competition in the marketplace, but the majority of other pesticides contain dangerous chemicals that are not safe for use in the home. Other all natural ant killer products contain many of the same ingredients as Orange Guard, but are sold by different manufacturers. The majority of online reviewers found that Orange Guard natural bug spray was useful, but some reviewers had very negative opinions of the product. A handful of users found that Orange Guard was largely ineffective against ants and spiders unless used in great quantities. This however left an oily residue and unbearable smell in their homes. If you are looking for a great natural insect killer that is safe to use around the home, you will experience success with the Orange Guard Home Pest Control. If you have a heavier insect problem though, the assistance of a professional or the use of stronger chemicals may be necessary.

    November 16th, 2010

Product review of clothing insect repellent.

Camping in the great outdoors is one of the greatest summer activities in America. There are millions of acres of open, unused land across the country that have natural beauty and splendor that can’t be missed. But nothing is perfect and insects have a tendency to ruin even the most well planned camping trips. However, with Sawyer Premium Clothing Insect Repellent campers need not fear mosquitoes, ticks, mites, and other campground pests. This Clothing Insect Repellent is designed to be sprayed directly onto clothing, tents, and other gear to not only prevent insects from pestering campers but even kill ticks, mosquitoes, chiggers, and mites.

Designed to be sprayed directly on clothing and other camping gear, the insect repellent has no odor when dry and lasts through as many as six washes because the repellent bonds with the fibers in clothing and tents to have a long lasting hold. Few users could find enough faults with Sawyer Clothing Insect Repellent to say anything negative about the product, though some did manage to travel to regions of the world where the insect repellent was not 100% perfect. However, the vast majority of customers who used the spray while traveling across the U.S. were never again harassed by pests.

    October 26th, 2010

    Product review of moth traps.

Given that humans are outnumbered on this planet by animals, bugs, and pests of all kind, it should come as no surprise that we are going to find them in our homes from time to time. While many of these pests, such as moths, may appear harmless at first glance they can actually be more than just an unwanted guest. Moths not only bring bacteria and viruses into our homes but they can destroy our foodstuffs. In order to combat these pests, Catchmaster developed the Food & Pantry Moth Trap. As a result of the health risks posed by moths and other pests, the Catchmaster Moth Trap was designed to effectively and safely attract and dispose of moths.

The trap contains natural pheromones that attract and destroy moths, working for up to three months at a time. The traps are non-toxic and once they have outlived their effectiveness can be easily disposed of. Catchmaster Pantry Moth Traps are effective at controlling the Indian Meal Moth, Tobacco Moth, Mediterranean Flour Moth, and Raisin Moth. Many who have used the moth traps found them to be incredibly effective while a handful of people did experience problems. On the whole, the Catchmaster Moth Traps are a solid buy for little money and will get the job done.

    October 26th, 2010

Product review of victor electronic rat trap.

As humans expand their suburbs further and further out, they cut into the habitat of wild animals. As this happens the wild animals have nowhere to go sometimes but into our homes, and to make matters worse the garbage and refuse we leave behind also attracts unwelcome intruders. The Victor Electronic Rat Trap is a fantastic answer to pesky rodents intruding in homes across the country. This rat trap is the answer to anyone’s rat or mice problems in their home. The unit is roughly the size of a loaf of bread and runs on four C batteries which can eliminate roughly 12 rats before needing to be replaced.

The simple design can be easily and safely baited with peanut butter and when the rat comes in contact with the metal plates inside the plastic trap, the circuit is completed and the rat is eliminated. A green indicator light will blink for up to 24 hours, alerting the user to a successful kill. With a kill rate over 90%, the Victor Electronic Rat Trap is just as efficient, if not more, than traditional traps without leaving users to deal with the corpse by hand. Despite a few users who had issues with defective units that didn’t last long, many users found the product incredibly useful and enjoyed the easy clean up and disposal involved with the electronic rat trap.
