This Baby Float Includes An Adjustable And Removable Canopy

    September 16th, 2011

Small product picture of a baby float review.

If you have small children in your home and a pool in your backyard, you should consider buying this baby float. The Swimways Baby Spring Float Canopy claims to be a safe and fun alternative for children who are playing out of doors. For those families with pools, having a young children constantly clinging to the parents can remove a sense of growing independence from children, remove their potential for exercise, and take away the fun that the parents might otherwise have trying to relax in the pool. With this new baby pool float, babies can rest in the pool with parents, toys in hand, protected from the sun.

For children who are around thirty inches long and weighing around twenty pounds, this is the perfect play toy. Young children who might otherwise be too small for such a toy are perfect for this one. This is perfect for children even if they cannot hold themselves up yet because they can lean forward over the inflatable cushion which is provided and then place their arms out of both sides. With the convenient mash ring children can keep their toys next to them, within arms reach for when they want to play with them or put them back. Understanding the risks of skin cancer and over exposure to the sun for small children, this toy comes with a safety canopy which covers small children completely from the sun. Young children are able to kick their legs to move around and therefore get a lot of exercise.

The Bazoongi 48 Inch Bouncer Is A Well Built Toddler Trampoline

    September 15th, 2011

Small product picture of toddler trampoline review.

When you step outside with your small children, you want to ensure that they are able to play in the safety of your home. It can be difficult to find toys that are applicable for many children of a younger age, particularly those which are outdoor toys such as a trampoline. With high energy children, an indoor trampoline should allow for fun and safety, especially during the winter months. The Bazoongi 48″ Bouncer trampoline claims to be a huge hit among many parents. When used for small children, having a trampoline that is 48” is the perfect size for the indoors. The trampoline also includes a good bounce to it.

The blue outer ring on the trampoline covers the springs completely which is a big deal for anyone with children, who don’t want their feet getting caught in between two springs. Many trampolines are not built in this fashion. The trampoline also includes six legs, making it studier for smaller, more hyper children than the typical trampolines with four legs. It fits well within a small or large indoor space while providing adequate room to move around and jump inside. There is a bar attached to the trampoline which provides additional support and is fully padded, leaving no exposed metal or sharp parts while offering the perfectly situated bar for children to hold.

Alex Little Jumpers Baby Trampoline Lets A Toddler Catch Some Air

    May 12th, 2011

Small product picture of baby trampoline review.

Every kid should have a baby trampoline in the home! These fun-filled toys are perfect for expending energy and fit compactly in a playroom or basement. The Alex Little Jumpers Trampoline holds up to 70 pounds and features a padded frame, soft foam handle and no-slip rubber feet. To use, kids stand on the trampoline, hold onto the handlebar and start jumping up and down. The baby trampoline includes a bungee cord and when not in use, the legs can be folded up for compact storage. The Alex Little Jumpers Trampoline is one of few trampolines on the market designed for kids and remains a top choice for parents.

It has excellent reviews and parents are satisfied with how quickly the product is to assemble, its durability and the level of fun it delivers to kids. Some parents have chosen the Galt Folding Trampoline instead, only to find that this product is less durable and has had some issues with the bungee cord snapping. For a similar price and a brighter design, the Alex baby trampoline is an exceptional buy. Not only do young kids enjoy the baby trampoline for playtime, but many online reviewers found this to be a great product for developing kids’ gross motor skills. The only concern that parents have had is in regards to the feet appearing unstable. Although none of the online reviewers had issues with the indoor toddler trampoline tipping over, some feared that it could happen with excessive jumping. Overall, this is a great toy that will get your kids the exercise they need – rain or shine!

The Fisher-Price Rainforest Melodies Is A Highly Rated Baby Play Gym

    December 9th, 2010

Product review of baby play gym.

Know a little adventurer that could use some tummy time? Check out the Fisher-Price Rainforest Melodies & Lights Deluxe Gym, a Baby Play Gym that features an adorable rainforest theme that is suitable for either a boy or a girl. The soft, padded floor panel will keep baby comfortable while playing with the overheard plush toy mobile. For extra entertainment, babies can listen to music and sounds from nature while watching baby-safe lights dance and play. This baby play gym set includes several soft play toys such as a monkey, toucan and elephant, which can all be attached to various places on the mat.

According to the reviews I researched, there are a few major disappointments concerning this baby play gym. Many remarked that the mat lacked enough toys to keep their babies interested and that their babies quickly grew bored with it. Another common complaint is that the mobile does not spin on its own, others mentioned that this play gym seemed cheap and that they expected more for the high price. Complaints aside, the majority of those who reviewed this product gave it 4-5 stars, saying that their babies loved playing on it and after all, that is what it’s all about!

This Baby Walking Toy Will Help Young Children Take Their First Steps

    December 8th, 2010

Product review of baby walking toys.

If your baby is ready for toddlerhood, they might be ready for their first baby walking toy. The Plan Toy Baby Walker is a progressive tool designed to help crawlers progress to walkers. The walker features an adjustable handle and colorful wooden and rubber blocks to keep young ones motivated and moving forward. For baby walking toys this does get very mixed reviews. Some who have purchased and reviewed this baby walker claim that it was incredibly sturdy, well made and was just the thing for their 1 year old to cling to as they set out on their journey toward becoming full fledged walkers themselves.

One review I read mentioned that the walker was helping their child to develop the correct walking muscles. Unfortunately, this is where the good reviews end. An overwhelming amount of reviewers complained that the Plan Toy Baby Walker was much too lightweight and that their children constantly tipped over. Another con that was frequently listed was that the walker was nearly impossible for children to turn without toppling over. Perhaps one reviewer said it best when they commented that this walker would be great for any child who only walked in a straight line. If that is your child, this may be the walking toy for you.

Baby Building Blocks Learning To Identify And Match Shapes

    November 4th, 2010

Product review of baby building blocks.

Fisher-Price Brilliant Basics Baby’s First Blocks is a simple shape sorter designed for children six months to three years old. There are no fancy sounds or moving parts. It is what it says it is; a basic set of shape sorting blocks. Ten bright solid-colored blocks, two of each shape, come with a container with handle so baby can carry it around. This educational toy helps the youngest child classify by color and shape. Even before babies are ready to classify, they improve their hand-eye coordination by placing the Fisher Price Baby’s First Blocks in the container, dumping them out, then repeating the process.

Its simplicity is a welcome change from battery-operated toys that can overwhelm a child with lights and sounds. Most reviewers say their babies love the baby building blocks, spending hours playing with the blocks. Several parents mention that the baby building blocks is rather small. Some found this to be an advantage, as it is easy to take the toy along when traveling. A significant number of reviewers noted that the top does not snap in place, and children remove it using the container without sorting the shapes. The baby building blocks mentioned a warning for California residents that the toy contains chemicals known to be carcinogens.

The Alex Bath Toys comes with a cup that has a big round duck-head handle making it easy for baby to grip the cup while playing in the tub. Fill up the cups and watch the water come sprinkling out the hole filled bottoms. Sure to get a giggle! The Alex Jr Tub Joy Quacky Cups Bath Toy set comes with three cups and one duck squirter. Colors will vary so do not expect the exact colors pictured. Parents find the cups make a great way to rinse baby’s hair.

The fascination with the sweet little ducky cup takes away all the fear of getting their faces wet. The cups nest together for easy storage. Kids love the Alex Bath Toys, and play with them even when not in the tub. Made of hard plastic, parents can rest easy knowing the toys are BPA free. Since everything, including the big duck heads, goes right into baby’s mouth this should relieve parents’ anxiety about this plastic toy. One reviewer mentioned that since the plastic is hard, it might be a good idea to keep an eye out for rough places on the cups if they were to get chipped or cracked.
